I waited 9 hours and my car was not even checked or diagnosis car had oil leak I just went and pick up the car anyway nothing was done I lost day work over $200 on earnigs because the car is my tool, went I got home the leak was worse next they my father in law help me checking it found out that the oil filter was loosen cause of the leak last oil change was done in you location so talk to your mechanics this is dealership fault. my husband and I had bought over 10 cars in this location over 22 yeas and I had this bad experience by the way I paid $80 to get oil changed somewhere else thanks for your help.

They did a great job with my oil change. They called and said I had a nail in my tire, I told them I would take it to Discount since I had the warranty there. I ended up calling back 20 min later and asking them to go ahead and fix it. I was told that because it was 4:30 and they close at 5 and they were already cleaning up for the day so they couldn't fix my tire. Thoroughly unimpressed with their excuse, since I did call within 20 min of their phone call.

My settings were not reset. On my road trip following my service, I was reminded every day that it was necessary to change my oil that was changed in this service. And I was told that my tire pressure was off after my tires were checked, rotated and balanced at the tire store. This is pretty basic.

Very unfortunate. Do not recall the last time that place of business did not welcome you. Service guy that checked me was negative. Cashier was rude and not helpful. Besides the negative environment, appointments do not stand for any thing. You still have to wait till tech gets to your car. The only nice person was the lady that took my car in and pulled it back out hen done.

Yes I am very upset, your service rep sent a video to me of what I was let to believe was my dirty engine and cabin filters. I check mine engine air filter and it wasn't dirty at all. I do hope that you are not up to your old tricks in tricking people they need filter changes. Doesn't set well with me, that's pretty dishonest if you ask me. You had a some good reps and a better customer program before what happened. I even enjoyed dealing with you. I am on the fence whether you will get anymore of my business.

After seeing my vehicle parked outside I waited fifteen minuted for the cashier to call me. I finally went to the window to inquire about it. They initially could not find the paper work for it. When pressed they determined that the invoice had been miss coded, and were finally able to reconcile it with the key, Had I not gone to the window, I probably would have had to sit there all day waiting for them to figure it out.

The drop off system is confounded by the fact the “service” people work on commission. The communication is hit and miss. Finally, I came in for a simple oil change only to find a pool of oil on my garage floor the next morning. I came by Saturday (at opening) and there were 40+ cars waiting for service. I took it to another service company who promptly took me, and said the oil filter was not properly tightened. That is bush league stuff, Westside.

On my recent visit for routine oil change and tire rotation (Westside has performed every one of my tire rotations) they informed me that one of my wheel studs had bad threads and that it would have to be replaced in order to put the lug nut back on at a cost to me. I informed them that they must have stripped the stud, as they are the only shop that has ever worked on my truck. They claimed it was a maintenance issue, and not due to how they had tightened the lug previously. I find that hard to believe given that NONE of the other lugs are experiencing this "maintenance issue". I asked that they replace the lug for free while the tire was off. The service manager was offsite, so the service advisor refused and put the wheel back on the truck without the lug nut. The service manager would not speak to me and told the service advisor he would charge me $150 to replace the lug. That is ridiculous, especially given that they had the tire off and that likely would have taken only minutes. We have kept returning to the dealership for service, but this is likely the end of that. We were also going to price windshield replacement, but will source that elsewhere now as well. Poor customer service ruins repeat customers....

After getting my supplier discount, the finance team added a GPS service for the same amount. Then, despite being a customer of GM Finance, they went and got the loans from a different bank and we had to negotiate the interest rate. Finally, they sold us an extended warranty with practically no details of coverage. We have cancelled the extended warranty and are still tensed if the dealership will actually cancel it. Overall, except for the seller (Matty P) - the sellers were extremely difficult and time consuming.

Terrible Experience for service at this location, 1. They demaged the rim while opening bolt from tire, 2. I paid to have state inspection done and when I got the car the report was not in there and Lane told me he'll send via email which I received which was for not my car, called again and they said I have to go back and do state inspection again, 3. They said they did tire pressure check and fill them up but they weren't. Overall, Will not be visiting them ever again.

I called to set up an appointment for oil change, tire rotation and I needed the brakes serviced because of them making noise. I was asked to set up and earlier appointment to come in for brakes and I did. When I arrived at my appointment time I was informed it was too late for break service for the day by the service advisor. If that was the case I wouldn't have left work early just to come in for a basic oil change service. I felt lied to by the operator who set up my appointment and the service advisor and my time wasted. I did get the oil change because it was needed. I'm disappointed by the experience.

We were told that because of the year of our vehicle & the fact that the dashboard was probably brittle due to the heat & age of the car, (it did have 3 cracks on the dashboard) when they change out the passenger airbag if they crack the dashboard they are not reliable. When I picked up the car I asked if they had a problem or if they cracked the dashboard. I was assured that other than the cracks from previous they did not damage while replacing the airbag, When I got in my car to leave, there was a new crack or cut in the dashboard, When I brought this to the salesman’s attention, he said he did not realize it until I showed him. What upset me was I specifically asked if they cut the dashboard in order to change out the airbag & was told no. While I signed the paperwork to pick up my car & the salesman took my keys to get the car, when I got to the car he was gone. I called, he did not answer his phone so I parked the car where I could see him. He came out, I showed him the pic I took before & the pic I took after the replacement. He said he didn’t realize they damaged the dashboard & gave me a # to call.

Mechanic found issue while.doing alignment. Normally never trust when that happens but service rep took me out to speak with mechanic. Agreed on 1.5 hour labor to correct problem. Mechanic did great job - just wish I remembered his name to thank him. Expense would have been way worse anywhere else.

My 2019 Silverado Z71 developed a leak within the passenger cab. All the carpet became wet. A leak was found and repaired at the rear window area a few months ago. Moisture from the carpet and padding on the drivers side front develops under the floor mats. I have had the truck inspected twice to determine if there are additional leaks but none have been located. The truck smells like it has been in a flood and is not a vehicle I even drive very much anymore. It is a shame I purchased such an expensive vehicle which developed a factory defect leak and now it is worthless to me.

I made an appointment earlier in the week for 2:30PM on Friday 6/4/21. I arrived 20 minutes early and checked in. I inquired as to the services I had requested (Oil change / Tire Rotation) to confirm. I also requested that my brake pads be inspected during the tire rotation and I be provided a report on wear. I was told that I would be receiving a message about the brake wear. I received a text from the mechanic early in the cycle; however I "never" received a report on the brake pad wear. When I received my receipt; there was no report of the brake wear. I inquired and the service manager was unable to provide me any report either.

Had my oil changed at west side Chevy, on my Silverado, the oil was leaking, the mechanic didn’t tighten the oil filter, it was loose, had I not seen the oil leak on my drive way and kept on driving, the engine would have been damaged. This is the third time with the service department. Third strike!⚾️👎

I walked into the dealership, purchased and paid cash for a truck within 2 hours (also ordered side bars added to the truck). However, I did not appreciate the fact that I was obligated to purchase and pay for the additional Onstar package because "it comes with all our vehicles and you have to purchase it" - if it is in-built and a part of the vehicle why is it not included in the price of the car??? I did not also appreciate the fact that the warranty offered was for 36 months only on a new vehicle! I definitely will appreciate a 5 year warranty with the purchase of the vehicle especially after paying additional for the Onstar package. I tried to negotiate for the document fee to be waived as I was not financing the vehicle which saved the hassle of paperwork but was categorically denied the request. Really? The manager was kind enough to include installation of the side bars with the price of the bars since I paid full price for them I guess and offered to tint the front windows. Anyway, will I be back or recommend a friend? Not likely.

I am pleased with the dealership and the service. However on this last trip the technician got oil on my door (interior) and did not do the multi-point inspection that he checked off. I had a low tire and it was neither aired up or rotated. So I had to come back and wait an additional 30 minutes to have this done. Not sure if he’s new or chose to skip it. When I used to come in I felt like you guys checked my car over and would let me know if there things I needed to do to prevent future issues. Now I feel like I just get the paid items done and pushed out the door. I miss that extra level of service (which comes with the multi-point inspection)

This will be the 3rd 4th time I’ll be bringing my vehicle in bc my Tahoe was not fixed properly! I been having the same issue with acceleration issues and constant jerking even when trying to get my vehicle to reach 35 mph! I had my mechanic check it thoroughly and they were able to figure out exactly the issue! At west side they told me since the check engine light isn’t on and they couldn’t pull up any error codes they weren’t able to fix the issue! But my mechanic was able to pull an error code up which is pretty pathetic! I guess since I’m a female and they thought they could screw me over. My mechanic said to not use y’all anymore and go to the dealership off kirkwood for now on! Mind u all the times I have had my vehicle there I’ve been without a car for more than 2 weeks

The service to my vehicle was excellent as always. The service technician I was paired with did not impress me. I had to track down my vehicle to find out where it was. Tech called me one time around 3:00. I missed the call but sent him a text 5 mins later asking him to call me back. I then called 7 times between 3:30 and 6:00. I actually had to drive to Westside Chevrolet in person and ask another representative to help me track down my vehicle and explain to me what was going on. My service tech behaved like an immature, irresponsible teen boy that was more concerned with not working than assisting customers. The "service" was definitely lacking in the Service Department this time around.

It took way to long to complete the necessary repairs to my vehicle. I had to cancel trips and reschedule appointments on numorous occasions. Besides this - when I picked up my vehicle - the work was not complete. I had to spend more time and take it back in for the work to be completed. The only positive is - Crystal the Service person - was very good. But overall the work was not up to par, nor the time it took to complete the jobs.

I took my car there 1pm on March 24 2021 for a oil change I’ve used this dealership many times I received a call at 3 pm the gentleman told me that my car would not go into park and it was stuck in manual mode but I don’t even know why my car was ever in Manuel mode He said he would see if they can fix it and call me right back never received call back after I texted him and called him multiple times finally at 6 pm I got a hold of someone else and he tells me I think it’s done you can come pick it up William the gentleman I was dealing with left for the day but I was concerned that if I picked it up it wouldn’t go in park for me so I left it overnight until I could speak with William the next day I call in the morning and he said will it will be $300 something dollars to fix your car that’s ridiculous my car was parked fine right at west side Chevy and I have my mother as a witness I’ve called the service manager and still have not received a call back I do not feel like I should of had to pay for that repair when someone at Chevy broke my shifter cable I will never return and will make sure I tell everyone to stay clear of that dealership the customer service is so bad

I am not satisfied with what I was told about the water sounds under the dashboard. I had this vehicle for over a year was told that it is normal to hear water sound under dash. I just recently started hearing this so why I didn't hear this when I first got the car if it was normal? When looking online it says it needs to be flushed and the heater cord needs to be checked. This is the second time I took my car in for this the first time they claimed they didn't hear it but soon as I drove it off the lot I heard it. The technician claimed he heard the sound I really don't believe that since I recorded it and sent it to two different people. I am not satisfied at all.

Ma'am, what you read online does not mean they are correct. We do our diligence to check the system fully and we checked to see if there was any bulletins in regards to this matter on your vehicles VIN number. I would advise you to follow the recommendations of professionals who are trained to work on your vehicle rather than follow what is read online. Kent did his proper duties to ensure that there was not anything he would consider to be failure for your model.

I was very disappointed that the problem with my car should have been fixed the first time I brought my car in. They missed some leaks and now they have gotten worse. Now I needed to spend $2,700 to replace the part. I paid to have my oil changed, decided not to have the part replaced and was charged $150 to tell me the problem. The one that should have been fixed last year when I brought it in and paid $250 to fix the leak. It also came with a one year warranty. The service advisor asked if I wanted my car taken through the wash. I guess since I didn’t have the car repaired it didn’t go through the wash. I came all the way from Hempstead to the dealership I bought my car from and just expected a little better treatment. Well...guess I was wrong.

I am still a fan of Westside, I have purchased 12 vehicles there. However, this last experience left me frustrated. The entertainment/information console located in the dashboard has been shutting itself off and restarting while the vehicle is in operation. The service team assumed that since it did not happen while the truck was with them, there was no problem. It has happened twice since the visit.

Came to get my oil change never dreamed someone would be digging in my truck. We had be traveling so I had money locked in my glove box (100.00), bc there was NO need for anyone to go in there, well someone did and stole our money. I asked if there were cameras but was told to call the police, if I feel the need to. So I did!!! The service manager never came to talk with me because he told the police I was very upset... Well wouldn’t anyone be, when your things had been gone through!!!! We brought our truck from there and was treated WELL before Friday thief happened... I was told many went in and out of my truck so they couldn’t tell me any particular person. I say look at our camera and see WHO unlocked the glove box... If I thought someone was going though our things I would have taken it out, but like I said we were traveling AND there were NO need for anyone to have to unlock the glove box.

No chevy dealer had the exact vehicle I was looking for with the add-ons attached to it. But they where the only dealer in town with the vehicle I wanted with the engine package. They did the best they could with my trade in value, however I don’t think they took my authorization number serious from GM for my added discount I get for being retired military. After the deal was struck and the vehicle was completely mine, I didn’t get the care or walk through of the vehicle that I normally get at other dealerships. I probably wont go back to Westside Chevy again for a new vehicle. Unless my normal dealership I know and trust are out of stock again.

job was well done and had a good experience by and with the representative that assisted me, the rest of the crew in the service center began to make sarcastic comments when i walked in with a face mask as none of them had one on, began to talk about political propaganda, about being forced to wear face masks and personal feelings about the pandemic not being real, crew made comments about being labeled as racists because they’re white and unable to express themselves. Personal feelings and beliefs should be kept to one self specially in a work environment, as a Hispanic person i felt targeted by their comments as their conversation shifted from talking about vehicles and sports to political propaganda. Regardless of personal views, these are personal and should be kept to a minimum wether or not a customer is around.

When i arrived i sat in the service lane for fifteen mins without any service rep coming out. I got went in and all service reps were just sitting there looking at me. there were no other customers.I text larry about status of my car and no response until 2 hrs. later when it was ready.My paperwork was not ready when i came to pay. This is my second time at Westside Chevy. I purchased my 2019 Silverado at another dealership in Dec. of 2019. I purchased an ALLY service Auto Care Contract.. Westside does not sell these. First oil change i gave them this info and they made a copy of my Contract and said it would be in my file for my next service. This time -second oil change they knew nothing about it - but my service advisor did make calls and got it figured out. So it turns out that this Ally auto service contract only pay $35 for an oil change which is stupid because we all know oil changes are more than that. I dont want to drive out to were I purchased my vehicle -So I will have to deal with that. The guys at Westside were great in making it happen. I just had to pay extra for the tire rotation at which I agreed. After about an hour and a half waiting for the it to be done- i asked. another advisor - he looked into it and told me they were doing a recall. My advisor never told me they were doing it but it needed to be done I guess. So when I finally went to pay the cashier was confused -she came up with 2 different prices which were both wrong - so we had to want till my advisor got off the phone. A this point i asked for the Manager- i was told he was not in. After 2.5 hours I finally paid the right amount and left. I really wished i had not purchased this ALLy auto service contract but i did so i am going to use it till I can - lets hope next time it will go smoother

I worked with Nick Reimer who was very personable and seemed to understand my needs. I had gotten an online quote to sell my Murano which we no longer needed. I was disappointed that the quote was not honored and Westside would only buy it for less than a third of the online quote. I understood that - virtual information versus in person. But I felt then that the online offer was a come-on. In fact, the phrase "we want your car" knowing it was 15 years old and then telling me it would be sent to auctioned is misleading. I was told that I could get more on a trade and thus pursued a Chevy Bolt that I had expressed interest. Although we did not need a second automobile, the rebates and increased value of the Murano on a trade-in made for a fantastic deal on the Bolt. After working with me for a while, Nick knew my stance on a new car and worked with me and his supervisor to create this deal. And Lam Tran was personable to deal with in "Finance" when finishing up the paperwork.

Had an 11am appt for an oil change. I told Larry I was on my lunch. I called around 12:30 for Larry and they told me he went to lunch but to my car was ready. I don’t know why if Larry was at lunch, he could have told someone to call me to let me know considering I was on my lunch break. It was rude and unprofessional. Again, this is my second time I’ve had to wait when my car was finished. I was annoyed and will never take my car there ever again. You should teach your techs if they go to lunch that they should have a back up person to notify the client when their vehicle is done so they are not waiting.

I've had better experiences at this location. I purchased my car here so try to return to get it serviced here as well. On my last visit to get my oil changed there was no next oil change sticker put on my windshield after the service. When i went back to my service advisor to let him no he basically said he was to busy to handle it. About 5 min later a tech comes out and ask me for my keys puts the sticker on and walks off! No apology are nothing. I was also charged about 20 bucks more than the parkway Chevy location wich is alot closer to my home in spring. Well, i had an appointment to get a speaker replaced and at my first appointment that i had scheduled in advance, i was told the person who works on this was out due to Covid issues and i had to reschedule for two weeks later. Why did not someone call me before i showed up to the appointment? Why don't you have a second person or back-up trained in this? Then when i showed for my second appointment, it was determined that the speaker was defective and you did not have the part and it had to be ordered, so i had to leave and come back for third appointment. So i have to come three times to get a speaker replaced. Just not very good customer service in my opinion, and i hope you investigate and come up with solutions.

Recently realized that the stand in mechanic who was just suppose to look into my suv to figure out a noise, BROKE my entire column cover on my steering wheel! Dropping off my car was a breeze. Picking it up, not so much. When I dropped it off I asked how long the oil change would take. I was quoted at 45 minutes to an hour. I let them know I was in a hurry. I was told I would be called when my car was ready. An hour and thirty minutes go by and I do not get a phone call. I drive up to the dealership to find nobody at their desk to help me. I wait and wait. Then go to the back desk to pay for my car. I pay and was given the key. Then I go out in the parking lot and my car is nowhere to be found. Finally one male employee asks me what I need. He brings my car from around the back. I brought my car here that day because this dealership is closer to me and I was in a hurry to go out of town. Usually I make the 25 minute drive to go to Classic Chevy in Sugarland for this very reason.

First of all, the staff was very nice. I brought the car in before 7:30a. I was told basically, First in, First out, so I got there early. There was 1 other person in the waiting room. I was to get an oil change, and wash, and find out why my Check Engine light came on. Plus, discuss while on vacation an air hose cane undone. I left about 12:40p, or 5 hours later. Evidently they changed a pipe. I guess it took 4 hours to change a pipe. It took me inquiring about the car to get the job finished. Including the car wash.

My car was there a week and when I picked it up nothing was found that I reported soon as I was driving home I heard the water splashing sound. Still waiting on parts to come in as well. Made a service appointment on December 19, 2020 for Tuesday December 22, 2020 at 7:15 AM. Dropped the vehicle off that Saturday December 19, 2020 at closing. My car was finally looked at on December 28, 2020. I lost the use of my car over the holidays because the dealership was "short mechanics". My husband and I had to call several times to find out what was going on with my car when I did not hear from Larry in service department on December 22, 2020. When I finally got a hold of him, that is when he tells me they are behind. I told him I had an appointment for the morning of December 22, 2020. I was informed by Larry that it did not matter what my appointment was, they were behind by at least 3 or 4 days, and they would get to it as soon as they were able. Why he did not call me on Monday December 21, 2020 to inform me of this issue is beyond me. I spent $150 for diagnostic to be told there was nothing wrong with the engine, which is why I took it in to be looked at, there was burning smell coming from engine. Turns out it was just some oil that had accidently been splashed on my engine from my oil change a week before. I was told the mechanic noticed my 2 axle hubs needed replacing. I am thankful for his eyeball assessment. We picked the car up and took it elsewhere, as I needed my car fixed before the end of the week, and had no idea how long it would take them at the dealership to fix it. Very disappointed in Westside for the first time in my relationship with them.

Typical issues. Walk into the service department and everyone is on the phone. Nobody looks up to greet you or even acknowledge they see you. Brought vehicle in for oil change, recall and tire sensor issue. 2 FREE OIL CHANGES expired a couple months ago DURING THE PANDEMIC but service writer was not interested in re-issuing the certificates and said I had to call customer care. I asked if the tire sensor was going to be covered under warranty since I was below the warranty mileage. The response was that it would be a gamble as the tire would have to be removed to determine if it was a malfunction of the sensor or damage due to tire changes. I said I would go to discount tire and get it done for FREE. ONCE AGAIN disappointed with the service department at Westside Chevrolet but I will continue to come because I have purchased countless vehicles here, love my salesman and the Auffenberg family is top notch!

My tools that I have under my backseat in the little storage compartment were spread all over the floor in the back when my truck was returned to me. Also, I found loose several screws both in the cab and the truck bed - I have no idea what they’re for, but I sure hope they don’t belong in the truck somewhere. Overall, very sloppy job. I also requested something be done about my transmission that overheated when in Colorado, but since no codes were triggered, nothing was done. I would have expected at least a flush to see if that would resolve anything.

Just an oil change and a check on one of the tire pressure sensors but everything was completed as I had expected. The only item of note that gives it 4 stars is that every time I drop off it typically takes 45 minutes to an hour for there to be a shuttle to take me home, but that is likely just a timing issue on my part.

I scheduled a service appointment to get my battery replaced, as it was over 3 years old. Not only was I charged $100 over the retail price of the battery, I was charged double the amount for the installation than other GM dealerships, not given credit for the core (my old battery) and was charged a shop fee for initiating the service myself. I chose to go to the dealership because I trust them since this is where I purchased my camaro, but if this is how I’m going to be charged in the future, I will not be returning.

Your service center associate ready to take your service checkup. But don’t want to perform the checkup as per customer. Using diagnostic machine is good but they never check other part of the car to make sure that what customer is asking the tech to do. Very frustrating when it happen. We as customer are paying you to do fully check up not partial. And it’s not $50 fir checkup it’s $150. I don’t think it’s fair when a customer is asking you all to check other part of the engine to check and to make sure the car is in good condition. It’s like you buying a used car and only seeing is the car fax not physically checking before buying. Very disappointing and I experience and will not recommend your location to anyone in my friends and family. This is my first Chevy car and it will be the last

I saw a 2021 Tahoe LS on your website. I set up an appointment to meet with Dominic Durrance. On the day of my appointment, Mr. Durrance was not available so I was assisted by James “Jay” Utzman. The vehicle I was interested in had not arrived from the plant to their dealership as of yet. So I did the paperwork and went home to wait. James kept me updated and encouraged every single day until the day it arrived. I had asked him if he could take pictures when the Tahoe came in on the transport truck. He not only took pictures but did a video. A couple of things. One was how the appraisal of my trade in was handled. I handed the keys over so the car could be appraised. 5 or 10 minutes later my car was parked back out front and the keys handed back to me. No games, no keeping the keys. Called to see if the vehicle was available. Salesman (Matt) took down my number and said he’d let me know. Received a callback in about 10mins letting me know the truck was available. Told him I was on the way to look at it. When I arrived the truck was sitting front row of the dealership, which was nice since it was raining. Went on the test drive, when we got back to the dealership we talked about driving a 2500 to see how it rode compared to a 3500. We worked the numbers and again compared the 2500 to the 3500. It was after closing time when we worked out the details and finished the deal.

I have purchased several vehicles from Westside Chevrolet my recent purchase was a 2018 Chevy Silverado I brought it in for service at 7800 miles and they denied giving me a free oil change that was promised to me when I purchased it that I have two free oil changes never told me there was a time limit I’m getting the oil change so 7000 miles that would’ve been my second oil change because I was giving her oil change is a gift they would not do it with so they couldn’t no way they didn’t rotate my tires on the 7800 or 7500 mile service they weren’t very kind when you buy a $50,000 truck and other vehicles and this is what my want to three trucks and a couple other smaller carIt doesn’t make me want to come back I don’t even know what to do my truck ready to go just trade it in someplace else and not come back to Westside Chevrolet I think it’s wrong that you would sell me a seven-year warranty and then tell me how you can’t get you two free all changes because it was due in August in the Covid was here and Sarah well Covid you can’t don’t worry about it you don’t get a oil change will charge you for the oil change
